After receiving a second degree in journalism, I went on to spend seven years as a staff writer and editor at Sunset magazine. While there, I won awards, scripted and produced videos, contributed to six cookbooks, and shaped an editorial calendar. I've also created content for the San Francisco Chronicle, Williams Sonoma, MyFitnessPal, and others. I authored my first cookbook in 2015 and immediately decided I was tired of writing the word "delicious."
These days, I use data to inform content decisions for marketing and brand teams, My decade plus of content experience helps me plan, structure, and execute that content so it makes sense and leads to conversion while also building a strong sense of brand. My clients include search engine giants, global cyber security companies, retail startups (I love startups!), and lots of random work for agencies. When I'm not writing words to engage an audience, you can usually find me in an overcrowded yoga class, camping with my sons, or mentally correcting people's punctuation on social media.
